whenever i see a newspaper in a movie, i always try to quickly scan all of the other non-plot oriented headlines. i want to know that something else is going on in the city the characters occupy.
i am very happy when i see “3 Die in Lightning Strike! - Several Others Seriously Injured”, because i know that other people really live (and apparently die) in that world.
